Information about the jDGKK Seminar

Important update: The deadline for registration has been extended to September 21th, 2021.

The "Junge DGKK" is an initiative of young DGKK members to promote the networking of young scientists and engineers in crystal growth. The young DGKK therefore supports the establishment and intensification of contacts between members and with experts working in science and industry through various activities. Another focus is to spark interest in young members for the work in our society as well as to gain the interest of new potential members.

The seminar usually takes place in the run-up to the main conference. In 2021 it will be on October 5th & 6th. The programme can be found here.

Registration

Participation in the jDGKK seminar is free. Registration for the seminar and DKT 2021 is possible from June 2021. All participants are asked to present a poster and a 3-minute Lightning Talk about their current research (BSc, Msc, PhD) (talks and presentations are to be held in English).

Please note that due to the still unclear pandemic situation, we can only issue a binding acceptance or rejection later and may have to limit the number of participants.

We look forward to a non-binding pre-registration for poster presentations.
